Shuffle Mode Access

I have an M9. I can only switch to shuffle mode after I start a song then click on the album art. Is there an easier way? I would have thought there would be a play mode option in the music settings, but there is not.

I would really like to be able to switch play mode before starting a track.

Is there an easier way? If not, is this option something FIIO would consider in a future update?

dear user,

The play mode could only be adjust in the now playing page. But you don't need to set every time if you use the same play mode.

Hello FIIO,

Thank you for your answer. I understand what you are saying. I just feel this is an awkward approach to changing your play mode compared to past DAC players I have had.  

However I now see that I can change the play mode immediately after selecting which catalogue I want to select my music, All Songs, Artist, Albums, Playlists, Genre, or even folder. After that selection, before selecting music, I now see I can immediately open the Now Playing Page by clicking on the bottom Born for Music and Happy selection. I can then change to shuffle mode, go back and select my music. This is less awkward then starting my music selection, opening the music page, and then change the mode.

This will have to do unless FIIO issues an enhancement in a future update.

Dear friend,

You could update the media library from setting of FiiO Music app-scan all first.

Then go to All music option in the FiiO Music app and choose a music to play. Then switch the shuffle mode in the now playing page.
