Q5s-iPhone MicroUSB-Lightning long cable?

Hi...

I need a longer Apple Lighting to Q5s microUSB cable, prefferably 0.5m to 1m.   I've tried generic cables from Amazon, but they do not transfer data to the DAC for some reason.

I tried an Apple Lighting to USB 3.0 Camera adapter with a generic USB A to microUSB cable and again, no connection to the Q5s....

I've seen a longer cable from DDHiFi which claims to work, but the microUSB connection is a right angle and block my 2.5mm balanced output (which is my headphone connection)

Frustrating ... any ideas on a cable/adapter combination I can use?  I'd have to break the FiiO supplied short cable and render my system useless.....

When you tried the Apple CCK adapter, can it work if you turn off the Q5's charge option via the FiiO Music app-Bluetooth control-Q5?

I did enable bluetooth and turned off the Q5s charge option.  I had to then exit bluetooth mode to connect via USB>Apple CCK>Fiio(USBa>microUSB).  

Unfortunately still no wired connection

The only cable that seems to work is the FiiO supplied short lightning>microUSB.


There must be a way to connect a longer (.5 - 1m) cable.... if anyone has had any success doing this, I'd like to know the setup

Unfortunately with the iPhone>Q5s over bluetooth, the best quality I can get is CD quality.   I'd like to stream Quboz>iPhone>Q5s (wired) to actually get Hi-Res with a longer cable than the short one supplied by FiiO.

Seems simple enough... hard to understand why this is an issue

Maybe the adapter you used doesn't have the correct pin defintion for the connection.

I've tried 2 different Apple CCKs, one brand new.  I connected it with the FiiO supplied USB A to micro USB cable (about 1.5 feet).  Still no connection.

If anyone has been able to successfully connect any cable or cable combination, excluding the short 6 inch FiiO supplied Lightning>microUSB cable,  from the iPhone to the Q5s, I'd appreciate it if you could list the exact cables used and any setting(s) required for either the iPhone or Q5s

Same issue. I have tried micro b to micro b with micro b lightning adapter. No luck. Tried Apple USB 3 Camera and regular USB to camera both with no luck. If you find a solution please post

I'm interest in too. @FiiO recommend please cable for us! I tried to buy replacement cable from our local dealer and they refused it, because the FiiO not shipping only cable (if failed as well!!!!). This is sad, because I couldn't use my Q5S for my iPhone, when my original cable broken or lost?
