Anyone know how to fix a fIIO q5 that plays static why playing music via wired or bluetooth?  ive tried reinstalling firmware 0.52 but still get static. so i did some testing. All the audio Jacks are messed up. static on all of them. if i plug in any headphone or audio cable half way the sound come out without static but only mono sound. using FIIO cables. if i plug in all the way i get static no matter what audio port i use.

Hi,

Please try to reset your Q5 first. How far away is the Q5 and your palyer or wifi source?

I tried the reset several Times.  as far as player I have them stacked. wifi I maybe 3 ft away.  How long should it take for the firmware to install after you unplug the USB and Plug it in.  Ive waited like 30 minutes.

The Q5 might be interfered when being too close to the phone's antenna area. You may try to keep it and the player in certain distance to check again?  And what's the sensitivity of your headphone?

I don't think interference is the issue.  it worked just fine when I got it.  I noticed it just started with the static. as far distance. I can walk outside with it.  use Any set of headphones I have. they all worked before. plus all are fiio Products.  I still get static with the music thats playing. I can hear the song but has static as will. I think it might just need repair.  I've emailed fiio support multiple time but not response.  if I can't get it fixed or someone from Fiio to respond.  I guess I will have to take my money elsewhere. and I own a lot of fiio devices.  I've got a x5 x5gen3, k5, multiple headphones and Cables all Fiio, The Q5 in question. I would just like to get my Q5 fixed
