Since posting this issue I didn't had any issues after updating my bios.
But after updating my bios once again the problem came back up (after using for almost 1 year in USB 2.0 mode without a glitch!)
I think it's a power and clock related problem, possibly addressable by a firmware update.
Nevertheless, I don't use DSD, I just switched to USB 1.1 mode and it seems more stable.
If users report that using a powered USB HUB fixes this issue, then it's FiiO to blame here because of the poor USB implementation.
Still, workarounds do exist, such as using nircmd or usbdeview on W10 or disabling selective usb suspend in the power plan. |
