A.    Final Firmware FW 2.6 for X5 1St Gen
The following changes and improvements were made to firmware version 2.6 compared to 2.5:
1. Enabled gapless playback of single music files split by CUE sheets
2. Fixed issue where the player may play through folders incorrectly
3. Fixed issue where the genre tag of AAC files (.m4a) was read incorrectly
4. Fixed issue where blanks spaces in front of the album name of a song caused the genre name to be read incorrectly
5. Fixed issue where the player may not be able to load the cover info for certain MP3 files
6. Improved the sensitivity and consistency of the scroll wheel response.
7. Fixed issue where some CUE sheets could not be parsed
8. Various other bug fixes in line with those made for the X5 2nd gen.

Note: 1.Please note that upgrading to FW2.6 from a firmware version older than FW2.3 will cause user data (e.g. playlists and favorites) to be erased;
2. Please note that downgrading from FW2.6 back to any previous version of firmware will cause user data (e.g. playlists and favorites) to be erased.

Is it possible to add the X1 ii (or X1 ver.2) Firmware to this thread?
I think it is a litte bit confusing to find the actual firmware. There are some downloads in different threads and in different sub forums, so you have to look in the whole forum to see if there is some new firmware. It would be much easier if the actual firmware would be in this thread like alle the ofhers firmware of the other players.

Good afternoon! In the firmware version 1.6.0 for Fiio x1 II, the following issues are found. 1. When connecting via bluetooth on the screen of the connected device (in my particular case it is the car receiver Alpine IVE-W530E), the names of tracks and folders are not displayed and the control of switching and stopping tracks for fiio x1 ii is not stable when it is connected to the Alpine IVE-W530E And is under her control. At the same time, when you connect the same Alpine IVE-W530E to a mobile phone samsung GT-I9192, everything works correctly - tracks and folders are correctly displayed on the Alpine IVE-W530E screen and the track switching control works without problems. 2. Very often Russian symbols in the names of tracks and folders Are not displayed correctly. I ask you to pay attention to these questions when releasing the next versions of the firmware for Fiio x1 II. Thank you!
